A new MMORPG !
 

Did anyone heard about Dofus ? it's a tactical MMORPG.
The game is midway between heroic fantasy and cartoon and the humour an references to heroic fantasy themes make the game, I find, really funny to play.:)

Its easy to set up and it only has a small (30mb) download you can be playing in little time.with 11 unique classes and lush colourful cartoon backgrounds from a 2d isometric perspective...you might as well give it a go.

can one make a lan server for it?

looks pretty interesting might have to give'r a try.....

seems pretty neat actually, i love a cartoony "feel" in any game. It takes away from the seriousness of everything and just leaves the fun. :)

I may have to try this 7 day trial.

GODAMMIT! I tried to create a character, but the game says every name I choose has already been taken. Even "fuckyouyoustupidgameihateyourstupidguts"

I must admit that the screenshots look neat, but be wary of the "friendly advice" given by Feca.

They've three posts and they're all in this thread. (It kinda seems like they registered just to "talk about" this game).

...kinda sounds like someone with something to gain.

I could certainly be mistaken, but it doesn't seem like just a friendly suggestion. (Although, the game does look cool..)

It's just an advice to try that game ! that's all...
Of course some people won't like Dofus because it is something really different from WoW some other MMORPG.

But u know it's more a "hey guys you can play for free to that game 7 days" than an advice ;)

I'm gonna stick with building up my adventurer in FREE AO, but thanks for the advice. If it were completely free, I would definitely give it a try. But I have a rule w/ MMORPG's; if it's not heavily acclaimed, it's not worth paying for because there won't be a crap-load of people playing with you. While at the same time, I refuse to pay more than $5/mo for any game, because with good support (if it is a good game), they should be able to take care of the servers with that price tag. I don't think they should get any profit for the monthly subscription charges given the fact that we shelled out the money for the game in the first place.

Has anyone tried the game and want to share his opinion ?
