Summer Slump
I was dissappointed on my current trip to Gamestop today, there just really wasn't any good games I wanted for any system (thats x-box, ps2, gc, and pc)..and some of the older games I wanted were still like 50 bucks (I'm looking at you Conker)..so what gives? Even more depressing looking at the coming soon lists yielded more dissappointment. Is there any hopes for the future?

I just played The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. WOW. This is the ultimate sandbox game, and in my opinion the best super hero game ever made. Granted, $50 is still a lot for a game.

One day an Englishman, a Scotsman, and an Irishman walked into a pub together. They each bought a pint of Guinness. Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage, three flies landed in each of their pints. The Englishman pushed his beer away in disgust. The Scotsman fished the fly out of his beer and continued drinking it, as if nothing had happened. The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!" |

Whoa! What a great game! Being able to pick up a bus and take it to the top of a skyscraper and just launch that motherfucker at an attack chopper, is just so much cool! I'm looking forward to the new Spiderman game later on this month. You get to play as Spidey, or, as Venom.

The new Hulk game has even got good reviews over here in the UK from what I have seen. I still need to try and play the original title released a couple of years ago.
Looks like Marvel games appear to be the trend setters in TV/movie to game conversions. Superman 64???? |

Dig through the cheapo old game bin and find a copy of Aliens vs. Predator 2. Three, count 'em, three different single player campaigns, and a world of online multiplayer fun. At last check, I found over 100 servers still online. That's pretty good for a game released in 2001. And it's probably only $9.99 now!

Whilst the AvP2 Community is alive and kicking, the community is a tad special. Around 50% love using the phat l33t sniper rifle and auto aiming pred-disc. If you play online, you will be owned by some cheap mofo's. Warning over.
OT, Another vote for the Hulk game - mad violence never felt so good.
