Anyone remember this game?
 

THeres a thread somewhere her that links to a Tron style bike racing game.
Back in the mid 90's I had a demo for a game that had the same style, you rode round in a futuristic bike thingy with a kind of ribbon thing trailing behind & tried to circke yer mates & make them crash into the electro-ribbon thingy.
The arenas were totally different & you were on a clock too so If you hadnt killed enough people the whole place would get zapped & you were dead.
I think the story behind the game was running man style, Criminals forced to compete in order to entertain the viewing public.
As far ass I know it was called DEATHDROME.
It was the greatest fun & Id love to get my hands on it.
Does anyone remember it/can direct me to a copy??

Pretty nifty game there TerresqueÜ but Im afraid no trophy for you, its similar but not the one.
THe one Im thinking of didnt have that "only right angle turns thing you could snake around yer opponent & you didnt leave a wall behind for miles either.

I remember deathdrome, i had a demo for it and i played it over and over and over again...

am i correct that you could pick up weapons and stuff?

it was a twisted metal on bikes, in an arena, with a sudden death time limit

Theres another version of a Swron-ish game called Armagetron, it's really tight you can play against up to 20 computers and play against friends using ur ip.

d00d.. armagetron.sourceforge.net Thats the ONE you want. Trust me, I played it online with buds everynight for like 4 months straight..we still do play it occasionally. Make sure you get the sound and video movie packs though.
