Classic Gaming Expo 2005
I've been evangelizing this to coworkers, friends and assorted individuals, but have yet to tell TFP about it. I saw a previous thread for the 2004 expo, but it's a new year. It's this weekend. I went last year and it was pimpin'.
More info here: http://www.caextreme.org/ Here's the list of video games, just the video games. There's still a million pinball games that I didn't list. 2005 SHOW GAMES LIST Last updated July 31, 2005 A "*" next to a game indicates that more of that game are welcome at the show. Damn that was fun.
Played mainly Warlords, Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair 2, and a little bit of Cyberball. But we played about 5 hours worth of Dragon's Lair 2, so it was all worth it. (5 hours of Dragon's Lair 2) * (60 min/1 hour) * (1 playthrough attempt/min) * (50 cents/playthrough) * (1 dollar/100 cents) = 150 dollars worth of Dragon's Lair 2 that we didn't spend That doesn't count the other 4 hours of gaming. Yeah, I think we got our money's worth. |
