I am intrigued about getting involved with one (I have about 3 hours every night that I have to be somewhat quiet, and have been playing poker or reading). I'd like to start off with something less complicated (not simple, just not over the top) for right now, but I'd also like to get into something that's somewhat newer.

Help! Any suggestions? I don't mind paying a fee.

Try "Guild Wars." Its Fantasy. Create your guild or join and face other guilds. (Free!)

Try "City of Heroes.'' You make up your own super hero. (I think its 15$ a month)

Each game is good in thier own way. City of heroes is my favorite though.

I am the same stage and I have just gone for Guild Wars due to it being free. I figured that I dont want to be paying a monthly fee for something I might not get into or will suck at.

Not started playing yet. Its sitting here ready to go...
