I think it is kind of funny that microsoft games are developed on macs... or beta'ed on macs. maybe not all ones at e3 were run on a 2 g5s but who knows

They're only using G5 hardware because it's also a powerpc platform. IBM has designed the xbox360 chip basing it off of powerpc architecture.

The video card is proprietary and, considering it's a dev kit, It very well could be running it's own operating system.

Just because the hardware is Apple, doesn't mean it's a Mac.

Also, keep in mind. Microsoft is a SOFTWARE company. They have no allegiance to any particular hardware manufacturers. Just look at with numerous windows handhelds out there and you will see that MS is not x86 exclusive.

You better believe they would have Windows for Mac if Apple would let them.

Heh. You should know, MH73, that the X-Box 360's chip component is still a ways from ready, as is it's GPU. Take note of the 'at this point'. All the dev kits are G5's running a modified version of Windows NT, but again, they're using the core G5 chip developed by IBM and Apple. Microsoft are taking the same architecture and adding some more cores to the processor, not much else.
