Recommend me a racing game for PC
 

I have been looking around for a good racing game to play on my PC, but as yet I haven't found anything that grabs me. I have Need For Speed Underground 2 installed at the moment, but it gets tedious, and the characters in the game annoy me. What I am really looking for is something like the Gran Turismo series, but for PC.

Motorcross Madness 2.

Probably not what you're looking for, but it's the only racing game I've recently played on a PC. Pretty fun multiplayer.

Flatout is awesome.

It's straight ahead balls to the wall racing without all the tedious screwing around with tirepressure and shit like that.

Crash physics are awesome too.

Downloading the Flatout demo now, it looks pretty good.

Racing game for the PC?

Pfft. Just get in a vehicle in Unreal Tournament 2004 and mow down some noobs. More gratifying.

A game called GTR is considered to be Gran Turismo for the PC. That is according to a UK PC magazine.

Toca Race Driver 2 is supposed to be good.

the colin mcrae line of rally cross is pretty damn good also, i give it two thumbs up.

Cracking racing game.

You cant buy cars but you do get to drive all sorts off stuff, from trucks to F1 cars

If you like offroad games, a game called 1NSANE is by far the best offroad game i've ever played. It's made by same company who made Colin McRae

need for speed Underground 2. underground 1 was good too... all of the other nfs serie was fucking awesome.
