Ruse

I just picked it up for Xbox yesterday and I’ve gotten a few hours under my belt so far.. its very different. Im not really sure how else to say it. I managed to get my way through single player enough so that I have a few of the unlockable characters ( Brock, Devastation, etc. ).. which is the only reason to actually play single player, as the storyline is terrible and short. After finishing it though, I thought I could comprehend the idea of unreal with melee...

So I felt it was time to try and play some Xbox live. . All right, so I got onto Xbox live fine and found a game without difficulty. Playing was the only hard part. When I got into the game it seemed like every single person was using a "heavy" character whereas I was using a "light" character. If they saw me, I was going to die - I couldn’t do a damn thing about it. I figured it might have just been my lack of skill; unfortunately, at that point the game had gone crazy. The camera was rotating around me over and over.. it was almost like the camera was still celebrating cinco de mayo. "Maybe," I thought to myself, "its a new adrenaline skill." No. After about 30 seconds - 1 minute of the spinning camera the entire game froze. I though I had lagged out but after 2 minutes I thought it was doubtful. I restarted my Xbox and tried again.. different server, different map, different character. Same effect.

When I went in to buy this game I was kind of torn between it and Forza... kind of disappointed that I didn’t pick Forza now.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with the game?
