HAS ANYBODY PLAYED EVIL GENIUS???

Hey boys and girls,
I am screaming out to EVERYONE who likes games, and wants to take over the world. I just bought this game called EVIL GENIUS. Yeah it rocks. It is for PC, and the object of the game is to take over the world. You have your own henchmen and your own control room. You can build lots of different rooms and traps, and objects. I love this game more than poker. And you kids know how much i loves my poker. Its almost like evil rollercoaster tycoon meets the evil sims
I urge everyone to try it out. And buy and extra copy in case one breaks. Then burn at least 15 copies of each disc.
<marquee behavior="alternate">Here is a link to the main page</marquee>

This game rocks THAT much.
Just two things bud: 1) All caps titles are usually frowned upon. 2) Scrolling/bouncing marquees are also frowned upon. Avoid these and the TFP will shine upon you

On that note, I've only played the demo to Evil Genius. It's fun, but I never did get around to buying the full product.

Basically. It's an alright game, it gets kinda old. It would be better to play in short time periods.

Ditto and ditto. Bad form.

Haven't played the game myself. I absolutely loved Dungeon Keeper though, so I might give it a try sometime.

the point of forums here is discussion, not shameless self promotion or site plugging.

this almost reeks of site plugging.

I wouldn't quite call it site-plugging Cyn. Over-the-top-fanboyism sure, but nothing more than that.

LOL when you see all the spams and such it reads almost like this fanboy post.. if it was really site plugging... it would have been closed.

I seem to get this game confused with Destroy All Humans for some reason.

Ok,

first off as a web designer I use scrolling marquees because I can't in the real buisness world, plus they are mucho compatable.

second i used ONE link, ONE, if you think site plugging is repetative,

and i was "capping" because i was pretty much shaking when I typed this, i was shouting out.

Third, I do agree that it does get kind of loopy in game play, but at least it has some form of plot, most strategy games such as this only incorporate small themes, like The Sims.

I'm not dissing the sims, believe me, I loved the game(s). But c'mon I wasn't moving on at all.

Peace OUT

Sorry, got a little itchy on the "Submit Reply" button.

If you think site plugging is repetative people quote things a lot. This is the first time I have actually done it.

I'd much rather start off on a fresh slate, kind of an OCD trick. I have a habit of spending too much time on things, and I probably would have rewritten the entire thing. So really, this saves me time in the long run.

sure but we do like to keep our threads tidy looking too...

so if you can use the edit button or use one post instead of multiples when replying to several people at once in a thread.

as for the game, I'm going to have to d/l it now.

It's a good game, but definitely not worth retail. It gets kind of old pretty quickly.

The best part about that game is that it can be abbreviated Goddam

Edit: Wait. I'm talking about Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters, not Destroy All Humans. My bad?

The demo was fun but it reminded me of Impossible Creatures; neat concept but it gets old quickly. I love Dungeon Keeper and this really doesn't measure up.

I found it charming, but infuriatingly hard to know how/what/where the hell to do... well, anything. A lot of trial and error was used, and then suddenly, I lost interest.

Man, I really didn't like Evil Genius. I was really excited about it... and then... it sucked. Really really sucked. The missions are so boring... produce this many guys and send them out, defend your base, and repeat. Endlessly. Yuck. Clever idea, awful execution.

Hey. I didn't know you could make scrolling marquees. Cool. Anyways, I have this game on my to-play list. It looks like a cool, funny game and worth a shot. Can't wait to try it out.
