Okay, say I have a guest pass. If I choose to keep playing when my ten days runs out, can I buy one of the time cards and use that to keep my account open, or will I still need to buy a retail box just to get the little key code thingy?

I really find the way Blizzard is doing this to be quite frustrating. I just want to play their friggin game, I don't want to have to pay them for the right to continue paying them.

You have to buy a CD key, which is pretty much all you pay for when you buy the retail package... actually its not called a cd key. Its like... an account key.. It lets you create a new account, or upgrade a trial account.

Sorry bub, they aren't gonna let you cheap out on them. Go buy it.

right you still haven't purchased the game, and that's part of the admission price, game + subscription, not just subscription.
