This was originally in Nonsense but it got no attention so I'm bringing it over here to gaming.



Broken Promise RPG, trying to rebuild...

As a few of you may have realized, the RP forum is no longer among us. So I'm using this as a temporary remplacement.


I will be accepting to applications to Broken Promise , yes even to the principle characters, mainly because I don't remember the usernames of the people who were the original characters.

If an original character pms me and says something along the lines of "Hey, I'm still here" and re-posts their characters info they will auto-matically have a spot.

*note to the original characters* If you want to make changes to your original character profile feel free. I will be updating mine a bit too.

For those who weren't part of the RP board in 3.0 I will post the setting and general idea of Broken Promise the RPG.


Setting : 2030, cold, hostile, sterile, metropolis of New Heileke. Tresque, the main character played by myself, finds himself in this world after a mysterious happening that took him from his own time, 1723. He is now searching for a way back to his own time. (your character can use a gun and is encouraged too, use of swords and bows is rare in 2030.)

Principle Roles:

Male lead : TerresqueÜ
Female lead : ???
Male/Female Supporting1: ???
Male/Female Supporting2: ???
(Both supportings are equally as important, a supporting character can be nuetral, neither hating or loving the other characters.)

Antagonist (Villain) : ???

Make your character profile as detialed as possible. Use mine as a model.

Name : Tresque

Age : 25

Weapon: Double edged, diamond bladed sword. 3 feet long 2 inches across.

Abilities : Speed manipulation (haste and slow magics)

Appearance : Long red coat, buttoned in the middle open at the bottom and top. The sleeves of the coat go to the middle of his forearms. Black gloves that go from his hands to the middle of his forearms. Black pants that go down to his feet. Black leather shoes.
White vest under his coat. Blue hair, bangs going down to his eyebrows, shorter in the back of his head. Sub-muscular upper-body.

Other information: Has had alot of loss in his life, and tries to enjoy the bueaty of things that can't be destroyed, few though they are. Carries three photoes, one of his first girlfriend who died tragically by drowning, one of his mother who went into a coma and died, and one of his teacher and father figure who died of at heart attack and old age.
His father ran off when he was still a baby. Has a series of scars up and down his upper-arm, but they are always covered by his coat.

If you don't get picked for this RPG, or all the original cast signs back on, you can participate in the next one. If you start posting and haven't been chosen you will recieve a PM from me to change your post within 24 hours or you will be referred to a mod.

If you are picked to participate you will recieve a PM saying that you have, I hope you all have the PM warning box on. Joining in one of my RPGs is a serious responsibility. You are expected to spend at least 10 mintues of your day reading new posts,making a post, or checking if I've updated the rules.
