I remember in high school when I used to play Duke Nukem 3d over the modem with my friends. Oh the many different strategies you could use with those trip laser mines, freeze guns, and shrinking rays.
Then I went to college and my roommate had a N64 and Goldeneye (supposedly the best first-person shooter the consoles had at the time). I played it for a few seconds and was bewildered by the fact that I could see where my opponents were at all times. And what the heck was this radar crap? Where was the strategy? That's when I knew that consoles were inferior. |

PC all the way...
all options and stuff can be changed/ mod'ed more maps and such can easily be made or acquired and added and overall simplicity and dont forget that to play a PC game, u can just minimize TFP and open up a game... for a console, uve got to go downstairs to the damn TV

For FPS or adventure games I prefer the PC for the use of the mouse and keyboard combo.
For RPG's and fighting games that don't require me to aim or mouseover/search for clues, console works great. So it really all depends on the game...
