Parasite eve.. Where's the sequel?
Ok, i never had the chance to play the first game, but for me parasite eve II was one of, if not the best game i have ever played. Ever. It just had the balance of RPG, action and thriller genres that had me going all the way though. It had just the right amount of everything at any one time to keep you enthralled and entertained.
Anyway, personally i'd love to see a sequel. The playstation 2 hardware could bring on such an awesome game and it'd instantly be part of my collection regardless of quality. So what do you think? Played the first or second games? what would you put in a sequel? and what would you do with aya? now that she's getting younger because what came into her system from the first game.

I LOVED the first Parasite Eve. Great story, great graphics, great combat engine, AMAZING soundtrack...it was top-notch. I never got around to play the second one but I heard it was awesome as well. I'd love to see a sequel also.

^^^^^^agree. Although I would like to see it on the xbox. As i dont have a ps2 and with the next gens comming so soon i dont see a need to get one. (not starting a flame here) I loved Parasite Eva and had it imported on PS1 befor it came out here in the states. But had to get it with the US release so i could get into the story as well. The mitochondrial dna part of the story was cool as hell, as well as the transformation you could do.

I have both 1 & 2, and they both rank on the top 10 rpg-esque games I've played.
They had story, graphics, and gameplay. I'd rank #2 a shy better then #1 simply because I remember it a little more then the first, but that doesnt mean either one was bad in anyway. I truely hope they make a new one on the PS3. (Or whatever they will call the thing.)

Reading this thread makes me want to buy the game again. Parasite eve was amazing. I don't remember if I ever beat it or not but, I do remember having to fight the mutated dinosaur.....that was "fun." Never got around to playing the sequel though.

The first game is SO much better than the second, I highly suggest getting it. The graphics are pre-rendered so only the characters models look out of date I think I'll play it again this week.

I love the first Parasite eve. One of my favorite RPG in the playstation era. The second one was disappointment IMO. It was too much like resident evil, should've been more like part one.
Plus Aya was so hot....
