Teh N-Gage
Dare I ask if anyone here on the TFP has the Nokia N-Gage?
|
Heh heh heh. Silly old Nokia, they still think it's going to be a big success.

That' still around? Jeez, does that mean I can pick up a VisualBoy as well?
EDIT: Or perhaps a Virtual Boy... |

Virtual Boy, on the other hand, was a failed endeavor by Nintendo into the "3d" world. Oops. In regards to the N-Gage, I'm gonna have to go ahead and say no. Anybody who actually has one here would be too ashamed to show their pathetic face, as it would immediately be placed upon a pike to be ridiculed by all and eaten by crows. And rightly so, because the N-Gage was a foul spawn of hell, created by a company that wouldn't know a gaming system if one kicked it in the balls. Why, you don't have one, do you? |

Not seen anyone in the UK with one

I've seen a total of 1 'one'. He was side-talkin'. I laughed.

I love how they showed the "real game play" on a commercial for it, the framerate was so damn slow during a football game I just laughed.

I've seen two N-Gages since they came out. One belongs to a mallrat who hangs out at my work all the time. His NG is somewhat modded/hacked so it plays NES/SNES emulators. He also says he wants to ditch it  The 2nd NG I've seen belongs to a friend of mine.... who is convinced that the NG is the greatest handheld "hybrid" device ever. The only thing I can tell him is that there is a reason that MP3 players, cell phones, and portable game devices are all separate. |
I sold two of them in one day last fall.
They were the only two that I or anyone else that worked in the store I worked at for half a year had ever moved from the shelf. And they both happened in one 5-hour shift. It was bizarre. |
Xeno, I take it you work at a video game shop?
