Devil May Cry 3
I'm excited. Why, you may ask? Simple.....
Devil May Cry 3 I've been waiting for this since they f-ed up the last one.(yes, I bought it and beat it. could have been soooo much better) But I've been reading up on this one, as I am wont to do when I get excited about a game. And I think it'll kick major ass. The guns, swords, styles, enemies....mmmmm happy. Granted I've still got a few days before it's out. So I'm getting into the mood to play a nice ass-kicking game, but no DMC3. I think of firing up Bloodrayne 2, to get my dose of action and all. Then it occurs to me; what would happen if these two were to hook up? I mean we've got a half-demon ass-kicker with some sweet guns and blades, and a half-vampire ass-kicker with....some sweet guns and blades. A match made in heaven! Or somewhere. They'd get my vote for couple of the year..... and think of the children. *shudder*

I'm buying it ASAP. It's getting good reviews and I loved the first one. I can't wait to be in charge of the badass himself!

I got it this morning. I had read the gamespot review last night, and it's dead on. The very second level gave me a hard time, and the third gave me an even harder time. But only because I wasn't used to the game mechanics. It's funny, because after dying multiple times, I came back and took the boss down without using items and not losing much health. Same thing for Cerberus. By the time I had gotten to him, I was low on health, and lost to him. Next time, much better on health, but still lost. That kept going for a couple more times, but then it clicked. I came back to him and wiped the floor with him.
If you get the game, don't give up after losing a couple times. If you persevere, you'll find a great game.

I love this series so much. I am going to get the game tonight and I think it will be amazing. It will probally be the best PS2 so far this year.

it's out now, i haven't played it yet. it looks pretty promising; i don't relaly ilke the too-rugged approach of him shirtless, but hey i can't complain. that's the kinda guy dante is i guess. but i perfer him looking more classy, i like his original outfit. but the gameplay looks astounding though, and that's really what counts.

This game is hard as piss. Expect to "level up" on the first mission for an hour or so just to get past the second mission. Leveling up Dante does make the game more forgiveable but JESUS! It should at least *suggest* that you should level up...but it doesn't. If you are sorta good at videogames, don't play this...you gotta be DAMN good to get past the first or second level. Really cool game though. Dante is a badass.

Damn this game is giving me a hard time. I had to "level up" on the first stage like 10 times to buy new abilities. I'm still stuck on the third mission.

Wahoo!! I can get to the fourth level's boss now. Ha ha. The Cerberus "nunchucks" (misspelled so people will know what I'm talking about) are freakin awesome. I can get the fourth level's boss to 1/4 before I run out of my only healing item. Oh well, I'm sure I'll beat it soon.

The assistant manager at my work traded in DMC3 after a week because he was so frustrated with its difficulty... good to know that at least it wasn't him that seems to have that problem.
