I just want to bitch about steam not being ables to do their job.

I have a limited number of hours per day that I can waste mirking foo's across the matrix and for them to ignore their commitment to the time-wasting comunity is dispicable.

btw, if anyone reading this has goten the update, how is it?

The update stinks, first of all.

Another patch or something was released on 3/9. On 3/10 a patch to that patch was released. That's what I call bad programming.

As for me, I can hardly play the game for more than ten minutes or so and it crashes. Or sometimes it crashes Win XP, which if you think about it, is a monumental task. Hell, I play games far older than HL2 and they NEVER crash.

Understand people that eventhough the release date is soon, The game is still in beta. Beta's are always full of bugs and problems, That is why your playing it, to work the bugs out and report on the problems. If your not helping them by reporting and recording the problems, Wait for it to come out and buy the finished product. Sure there will be patches in the future but it will be more stable than a "Beta Version"

I second that. Steam might be the best (free) system ever. How many other games (besides MMO's, i said free) patch and/or update once a week.

And I have never had a problem with Steam or the games provided by Steam so I guess i'm jaded.

The only thing that really bugs me about steam is how it can burn your hand before you notice it.

Seriously, the only thing that really bugs me is that you have to be connected to the internet to play any Steam games. Otherwise, I haven't had any real issues with it.
