Pirates of the Spanish Main
Just wondering if anyone has checked this game out. Its made by Wizkids (the guys who make Heroclix, and MageKnight) but is completely different from anything else they have put out.
Basically the game is bought in packs just like magic cards, but each pack contains two ships that can be punched out and built. It's pretty fun as a pick up and play game. Here's the official website http://www.wizkidsgames.com/pirates/ and here's a link to what one of the ships looks like when built (each one is 1-2" long) http://www.wizkidsgames.com/pirates/....asp?cid=39129

It's a very interesting and creative idea, but sure sounds like a storage nightmare. It looks like they're made of a paper and styrofoam laminate, so they'd be rather easy to mess up.
Then again, maybe I'm just paranoid because I have two small children that tend to destroy such things. ![]()

actually the storage is quite easy. They are easy to pull apart and pop back into the original cards and are easy to store in anything that stores cards. Not sure what the actual cards are made of, but it isnt cardboard it's actually quite sturdy.
