has anyone got gold in the time trial race where you use the hot rod car??? geez no matter how perfect i drive i can't seem to get gold i always get silver

is there a short cut or something i missed or should know of???

I've found that the time trial laps with the faster cars are more luck than anything. I still haven't gotten any better than a bronze with the F1 car.
