Top 5 XBOX games?
Alright, well, I'm expecting my XBOX to show up in the mail any time soon, so I just want to know which XBOX games are the most fun to play overall. I'm probably gonna be playing the heck outta the system, so I might as well be playing the heck outta some great games, right?
Oh yeah, please don't mention Halo or Halo 2. I already know those games are good.

Ninja Gaiden Burnout 3: Takedown Splinter Cell 1 and 2 Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Those are the few that come to the top of my head. Burnout 3, KOTOR, and Ninja Gaiden are worth buying the system for. -Lasereth

All of these are great titles.
Lets don't forget Splinter Cell 1 and 2. PsiOps is a great game too, but I would probably not put it in my top five. Suprisingly, if you are a fan of the Simpsons, the Simpsons:Hit and Run is a blast.

I personally don't know why you would stay away from Morrowind. You can pick it up at EB for $10 or less and it will give you and addictive total emersing world plus about 300 hours of gameplay. I was hooked on it for at least two months.

Hey, thanks, all! I went game shopping tonight and bought the following so far for about $80 total:
Shenmue 2 Morrowind Counter-Strike Fight Night 2004 Grand Theft Auto 3 (I just had to see what all the graphical differences were that people are talking about) Beyond Good & Evil Unreal II Next time I head out, I'll have a print out of this thread. Thanks all!

I don't normally play the Xbox, but Ghost Recon 2 is good. It is also hard. In fact, I've only managed to beat the first mission, and that was with three of my friends playing at the same time. It does a good job of simulating the terror and confusion of a battle.

Oh, the Splinter Cell games are better on Xbox also.
The loading times, graphics, and levels themselves (just having more things/areas) are superior compared to the PS2 versions.

The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!" |

I've also heard that KOTOR is annoying on the PC because of the controls. Same problems with both games...the XBox controller is perfect for KOTOR and Halo. -Lasereth

I couldn't tell you any games. I have only played Halo and Halo 2 but I consider the purchase (of gift in my case) of XBOX worthy just because of Halo 1 & 2. I palyed Counter-Strike for a couple hours but I quickly went back to Halo. Nothing beats it and you better have XBOX Live! as you can play anyone around the country. Halo just never gets old...

Played through KOTOR on the PC and am playing KOTOR 2 on the XBOX. I'm finding the XBOX interface easier to use. When I played KOTOR on the PC, I noticed that it still suffered from consolitis. The buying interface and interaction didn't seem to utilize the mouse very well. The mouse implementation on PC was interesting to say the least, since it was used to click on screen commands and to steer the player. But I suppose if the game was originally deved for the PC and then ported to console, the reverse problems would appear.

Crimson Skies is an excellent game to play on Xbox Live, the single player game ain't half-bad either. Too bad the Crimson Skies' XBL community is pretty much dead now, you might be able to get a few games, but not many. Most people are playing Halo 2, Rainbow Six, or MechAssault 2 (Made by the same guys who made MechAssault and Crimson Skies).
