Vampire: Bloodlines
 

Has anyone looked at this game? I'm thinking of picking it up but would like some input from someone who has taken a stab (yuck yuck!) at this new title.

I've played it, beat it twice, and had fun.

BUT

The quality of game is just pathetic at times. THe game cant be more then 70% complete for the number things missing or unfinished in it is just simply sad.

Bugs are also quite irritating, and it has plenty.

It was pretty good once you got into the flow of the game, but I also found a lot of the aspects of the game shockingly rushed.

I didn't run into the same technical problems that a lot of people did (crash to desktop, game-stopping bugs requiring a previous save, etc.), but the numerous visual glitches were kind of strange. And why does everyone KICK doors open all the time? Is the animation for opening a door that difficult to put in?

I do have some hope that Activision will let Troika release a patch that fixes the bugs and allows them to add in some features that got left out at the last minute. The vampire histories would have added much to the fun factor of the game.
