It's got quite a few bugs, if I remember. It's good for a few rounds, pretty darn funny actually, but not a whole lot of depth.

You know what, it's worth it. It's a good time. Go for it.

Yeah, I actually really enjoyed it for its mindless driving nonsense. If you're into freeform pedestrian killing nonsense, you'll probably enjoy it. True what was said above though, it is kind of shallow.

I played the first one and found it fun(I might even still have the CD somewhere, for all the good it would do me) but I would think even the first sequel would be extremely dated. There's a third one, and there's apparently a fourth one in the works, but it looks like the series got worse as it went along.

Yeah, the 3rd one was total crap. But Carmageddon 2 was tons of fun.

Carmageddon2 was rad, but the missions that you needed to complete to unlock more races got a bit tedious, because they often required percision driving, something which was very hard with the ridiculous driving physics.

But the mindless slaughter was fun

I found the missions in C2 frustrating, but satisfying once completed. It was possible to exercise enough control over the car if you were fly with the handbrake and picked the right vehicle. I remember one mission where you had to jump between rooftops and smash into satellite dishes. That shit was HARD cos if you fell, you were fucked.

Hah,, that is the exact mission I always think about in Carmageddon 2 too!

Mainly because it pissed me off so damn much.
