My guild has dissolved into cliques and lacks any coherent leadership. I'm getting really tired of not being able to buy my way into any Karazhan groups. I've got all my heroic keys, but no one wants a hunter in a heroic group.
Having a lot of fun farming demons for Aldor rep, though. Right? |

I'm sick of all the rep farming that's needed in this expansion... You need heroic keys for 4 places to get pieces to get into the final dungeon.
Not that I'll ever see the final dungeons on my warlock unless I get out of my guild. I'm one of 3 lvl 70s.. I've been 70 since day 9. I think we have another 10 people that are 60 to 69... I haven't found anything to do over the past few days, so i dumped alch/herb on my shaman and got him from 0 to 350 tailoring in 2 days... Those new bags sell pretty good. |

New Balance Druid Record Starfire Crit: 3890 (in PvP)
Record Wrath Crit: 2652 (also in PvP) 715+ damage 7120 Health 8340 Mana 21.83% chance to crit in Laser Chicken form With Raid buffs (int and kings), I can pop both of my Trinkets at the same time and be well over 1100 + damage 4200+ Starfire anyone? I 2-shot a lvl 69 "bird man" type mob the other day on a quest. I was grouped with a pally, and he went to attack it, before he even made it to the mob it was dead. All he said was "w...t...f..." I just said, "oh, I crit. Twice"

Laser Chicken form FTW?
I havent gotten to go yet because the guild I want to raid with starts 30 minutes before i get off work and I'm the only one attuned in my guild. I'm loving end game shadow priest. I have a little problems keeping up with mages on the DPS on the trash pulls but I make up for it with my sweet mana and health restoring dps on boss fights.

lately
lately my favorite thing to do has been using my mindcontrol hat in warsong gulch.
i love grabbing a hapless defender to help me out of their flagroom. my favorite targets are hunters because their teammates step in their traps by the flag or pallies because they slap blessing of freedom on me. its fun on defense too. i'll be midfield and when i turn around and see someone runnin with my flag, i'll pop the hat on him and have him follow me back to my flagroom like a stray puppy. finally the meanest thing i think you can do is grab a hunter and have him help you kill his own pet

We finally downed Moroes last night. Only took us 2 days I got Signet of Unshakable Faith woot!
I don't have a good mainhand to go with it yet so I'm using The Essence Focuser with a +30 int enchant on it. I'm definitely looking forward to getting a better mainhander from either Shattered Halls or Maiden of Virtue. Maybe tonight!

I have just begun to start looking at this game, and from what I can see, I would be wasting my time. everyone is level 70 or so, and me, starting as a newbie would just get wasted.lol. Not to mention that it looks like it costs about $20 per month to play? thats CRAZY.

Yeah I cancelled my account today. Too much guild drama, too much of the same old stuff, too much real life stuff to take care of :\

-Ever-, just don't start deleting all your characters. I've seen so many people do that. Why in the world would anyone do that? Blizzard will keep your character pretty much forever. I'm sure you know this, though - I remember you've been playing since the beginning

You had someone cancel over the Druid nerf? That nerf was 100% justified.

The nerf was justified. The severity of the nerf almost certainly wasn't. Blizzard has a habit of using a sledge hammer when all they needed to use was some sandpaper.
What's become obvious in the expansion is that a lot of druids really LIKE tanking in the endgame. While they were unquestionably too good at it-and also unquestionably better than warriors at AE tanking-the solution to the problem would've been to make 1 or 2 of the 4 changes they made to druids AND make warriors better. The other major druid problem is that their trees are fucked up. It should've been cat/healer/tank and not caster/healer/kittybear. That problem is WAY to embedded to ever fix, though. |

I think we can all agree though that Druids being able to take that much dmg while being able to dish about as much dmg as an Arms specced Warrior was a bit ridiculous. I think Blizzard needs to add a threat modifier to their abilities or something. They did go a little overboard with the nerfs, but we'll see if some get changed before going live.

So many priests are dropping out too. We have been ignored for so long and given so much feedback for possible changes to make our class something worthwhile, only to be told it will never happen...and then they take our ideas and give them to other classes. Oh well, I am still having fun.

I'm having a blast playing BC with my GF and brother. My priest and warrior are both 61 now. I'm not even out of Hellfire Peninsula and I'm still amazed at how much the game has changed. It's very refreshing to see totally new zones since I've been in the same ones since the beginning of 2004 (played closed beta up until release).

P.S. The game costs about $15 a month if you buy it a month at a time, if you subscribe for the six month blocks its $13 a month. Consider how much you'd play the game in a month vs. how much you'd pay to spend an hour and a half in a movie theatre. The entertainment value gains perspective when you compare it to other activities.

I am playing wow atm because I need somrthing till the release of Warhammer. My question is being I am a hardcore P V P player, but not in the sense in the PVE world more like BG's, what the hell is up with all that friggen dancing around and running in the bg's?
I mean come on if you attack someone square off and fight them not dance in circles then run to your little twink buddies. I guess I was spoiled by the play style in DAOC where people actually stood and fought. WOW seriously needs a /stick option so atleast you dont have to turn in circles and dance to fight someone.

People do that because they are used to fighting casters, where if you go behind them at all, the spell they are casting fails. That and the wep speed. It works on melee as well, if you are slow at getting "squared off" with someone to take a swing, then they will get a free hit or 2 on ya.

My guild just started guild runs of Karazhan this weekend and we cleared Attumen&Midnight and Moroes so far but we are stuck on the Maiden of Virtue. A pally would trivialize this fight but there aren't many on our server that are 70 yet (we have a 67 though). I must say though, Karazhan is extremely fun. The boss fights are very interesting and take a lot of coordination. This seems to have breathed new life into the game for me and some of my friends.

go to Strath first, get a disease that lasts for 10 mins, summon back, make sure not to cleanse the healers, there is one that does like 20 damage every 5 seconds for 10 mins, I can't remember the name of it, but that's how we killed her. Cheap, but effective

Actually, two shamans trivialize that encounter. With two grounding totems, no one ever takes a holy fire or the holy bolt. You can have a healer who's on top of their game to run into the consecrate for repentance or just HoT up the tank.

once you learn her encounter she really isnt bad. As lokus says it does take healers to be on top of their game and know where to move and when to avoid that stun. Here's a tip you may find useful if you dont already know: Spoiler: The holy fire will usually hit the person who is closest to the outer edge of her melee range.
check out my uber uberness:

From what i hear they changed her around a bit this patch. We skipped her tonight and went strait to romeo and juiet (1shot their asses!) and curator (1shot his bitch ass too) .. actually we 1shot the first boss and didnt wipe on moroes either Which is badass considering they nerfed the Luffa this patch.
Then we proceeded to shade of aran and wiped 4 times before we ran out of time for the night (we did get him to about 10-15% twice tho.)

I just have a hard time justifying the money considering how little I play. I might spend 3 or 4 hours a wekk MAXIMUM on any of my games. So 13 or 15 a month just to be able to PLAY a game?...I dunno. I guess if I actually PLAYED the game I might change my mind.
