Console & PC Online
Is it possible for console players to go out on the webb and face pc-players in games like Operation Flashpoint, GTA3 etc?

none yet due to the fact that the console versions are usually so compact compared to the PC version and the PC community lovs to mod games which is something a console gamer would have an extremely difficult time trying.

Consoles rarely, if ever, get updates/patches/fixes.
Problems like that would cause a rift between consoles and computer gamers. PC's would always have the latest fixes, and be able to play with less bugs. Consoles are generally sold 'as is', and if something is really wrong with it, then you just have to go on and exploit it. ![]()

I remember when you could play quake 3 online with dreamcast users if you had the right version and the map pack. Was not even a challenge at all. The game pad can not compete with a mouse/keyboard.
