				War Craft Stress Test/Open Beta
Wow I suggest you wait a while before trying to sign up. After two hours of frustration here's what I've accomplished: 1. Payed 24 dollars for two subscriptions (one will get canceled a soon as support gets back to me) 2. Can log into gamespy, but I have no access to the download yet. 3. Have heard nothing even confirming my paid for subscriptions. 4. World of warcraft.com is intermittently down 5. Support pages for gamespy and fileplanet it are both down. 6. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

| Psycho Location: Mostly standing in a blue semi-circle | As Las said they're under a ton of stress. Wait a bit and you should get the emails from gamespy. You need to confirm your account in a second email they will send you. This is probably where the backlog is and I figure it'll be sorted out in a day or so.

| unstuck in time Location: Nashville/D.C. | But wait spunk! after you pay the 16 bucks you wait indefinitely for them to send you a conformation email so you can activate your account. After that, you have to wait for the download to actually work.... /still haven't gotten my confirmation email 4 hours and counting...

| I am not permanent. Location: Tennessee | There's no NDA on WoW. Also, I've never heard of an NDA for any game during an Open Beta phase. It would simply be too hard to enforce. The rush to play open beta is simply that. You basically get to play the game before it comes out.

| I am not permanent. Location: Tennessee | I'm wondering the exact same thing. I think on the WoW site where it asks if you're a new tester, it's for emails they have already sent out. Hopefully the sign-ups will be back up soon.

| Upright | Yeah, this is really dumb. Blizzard has no link to the download on their main site. Only thing you can do is create a new account. Fileplanet will jerk you around trying to get 8 dollars from you but won't provide anything for the 8 bucks. This is very annoying. |

| Junkie Location: San Francisco | Still wondering if it's worth subscribing to FP. I'm really in no hurry this week, but I'm wondering if it's worth it simply to assure a spot in the Open Beta just incase they decide to drastically limit the number of people they allow in it.
