Problems with online payment for FFXI - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

My fellow gamers!

I was hoping that you could help me on this one. Well actually it's my brother who's got a problem with his payment. He's finally gotten his Vica card and is eager to play FFXI online of course.

the problem is that he doesn't know how to fill in some of the payment form online. First of all he's got problems with the postal code. There's room for 3 letters/numbers in the first box and 9 in the last one: [XXX]-[XXXXXXXXX]

None of us have any idea which kind of numbers they want.

The second problem is the what to write in the region/county/province area...

help?

Well it sounds like that's a Canadian sign up page. But if it isn't the last field is probably for customers that don't have a 6 digit code. Just put in the first 3 letters/numbers of your code, and then continue until you've completed it in the next box (you may not fill it up).

About the Region, if yours isn't there, is there an Other selection?

If all else fails, see if you can see something near the top of the page that lets you choose your country, because it sounds like a region specific page which will usually change when you select a different country.

I think you can just put the current city that he is in for the region question.

Great link Nuvdar but I'm still confused about the first 3 digit that they asked for. We only have 4 digit post codes in Denmark - there are no numbers in front of them what so ever.Anyway he said that he's gonna stop by the post office today and ask them instead. They ought to know these things right?

Church: Perhaps. After he installed the game there's this icon on his desktop that he was suppose to click on in order to register himself online. There's no other selection in the region field - there's only a blank field where he's suppose to write something. He already chose Denmark but it still wants to know the name of the region. He tried entering his "kommune"=region but it didn't work.
