Hi,
I didnt see any threads on this so I thought I would start one. I play a lot of games, most are fps but I do like to mix in the eq, eq2 and second life. Second life is like everquest except for some very important distinctions. Its a very small game engine. It only downloads the graphics needed by range of sight. Its a friendly game, I have met only one person that was nasty, its a rarity. The money you can make in game is made from real skills, not in game skills. Use of photoshop, avatar modelers and even music creation software are probably the main skills. There are ingame modelers but they are very simple. Also there is a scripting language used to animate objects. I have made a few tattoos (using photoshop) and imported them into the game for use on my avatar. I usually describe second life as a 3d irc, where you can show off your skills. If anyone else play, feel free to leave your ingame name. Mine is Random Fortune.
