How many of you online gamers are in clans...
How many of you online gamers are in clans? and if so what clan?
|
I'm in the Magic: The Gathering Online clan called: Intellimafia.
|
I used to belong to a few MMORPG clans, namely "House of Sagacious" and "The Combine."
|
RTS clan playing mostly Age games, Age of Mythology being the latest called Horizons.
|
House Forsaken.
www.clan-forsaken.com We support alot of different types of games, over 200+ members, and we're a tight band of people. Best guild I've seen. |
Everquest, Lanys Server.
Guild = Vita Infinita Great group of people that I miss very much. |
Asherons Call Frostfell Server: The Chosen
|
Socom II
C3AS, bitches. |
I was in a guild in EverQuest on the Morell-Thule server called Legion of Mist. We sucked, but it was a cool way to meet a bunch of players and have high-level help if ya needed it.
I would join a Battlefield Vietnam clan, but I'm a one-man-clan! -Lasereth |
Oh yeah, I was also in a clan on Asheron's Call-Thistledown called "Legion of Light" but they were a bunch of punks...
|
Starcraft: KoN. (Knights of Ni).
|
=OSOK=
Tribes 1 |

i think on starcraft clans are kind of pointless, but if ur on diablo or sumthing then i can see when a clan would be pretty good to have.
im not in any, cuz i dunt like talking to people when im on starcraft. |
I used to be in clans for.. hmm.. Diablo and Sc, and Jedi Knight all about 5-7 years ago... I haven't participated in any clans since. I guess it would be fun to play together in a clan for, say, BF Vietnam, and especially a huge Onslaught clan for UT2K4, but I probably don't have the time to be a good member, and I don't really play any RPGish games where clans would really be fun, anyway. Oh well, I would be open to the idea though, I guess.

I was in plenty. Currently in Digital UnderGround for Counter-Strike. While I played EQ I was in 3 major guilds, all which stemmed from one original guild. Defenders of Aleria, which dissolved after our newly appointed leader had a clash with our old leader and left. Then a lot of people from that guild made Violation, which lasted maybe 2 months and exploded into chaos. Then I joined Legendary Artisans which has a lot of people from those two guilds in it, then I quit.
|
I was in a SuperGroup in CoH and a squad in WW2OL but I never really joined a clan. I may join one for WoW though...and when I do shooters I usually play seriously half the time and just screw around the other half, so I'm not really clan-material.
|
I used to play with Combine alot in Dark Age of Camelot, Merlin/Midgard. Good bunch of people.
I was in 3-4 great guilds in doac(last online game I played) The most popular guild I was in was PRX because they had the coolest emblem, The guild was too well founded for me to really fit in so I left and after a short stay in a few other guilds I stuck with MoX until I left the game. I usually just find a new guild every new game, but I always love to see a familiar name in a new game :) |
I'm in a counter-strike clan called #doot. I haven't played since I came to college however.
|
lol, you wouldnt happen to be bix from doot?
I play WolfET with rK. |
|
Everquest - The Nameless - Darkfire Daemons
chars name is Halabut Fillets (monk) lol..... great bunch of people and great way to meet people TFC - Slayer - call sign is MysteryCheese great bunch of guys/girls but sucked when it came to competing....retired from that game last week :( |
Just guilds in Everquest. I never understood the clan thing in games like Quake and HL.
|
Been in a few.
Guilds for MMORPGS (Asherons call, Anarchy online, Horizons) For FPS - Quake II - DOG's (distinguished old gentlemen) RTCW - SF and CE (both the same clan. Was sectionF changed to chaotic existence) IGI2 - WWS (we were soldiers) Planetside - (58th Marine Corp, The Wild Cards (on warner NC) CoD - CE (see above) JO - KIA (Killers in Action, No1 in the European Clanbase league) Few others in between. |
i was only two clans and that was in CS in one of them we did pretty good we went far but as we got to the "pro level" in CAL people started to take the game TOO serious and it was not fun to play anymore.
geez my teammates basically gave up their life for the game.... quit school quit jobs the hole deal |
Ive been in more clans than i can remeber. My favorite was clan S.H.E.E.P in UO i dont remeber what it stood for but it was something about Scots. It was a very fun clan with excellent team work, and we all become good friends. It still makes me sad and angry thinking about how it broke up. And that was almost 10 years ago.
The only clan im in now is a super group on CoH and its warhammer 40k. |
Basically almost all the clans are for Starcraft and maybe some Counter-Strike. I dont know why SC is still so popular today...
|
I'm in a counter-strike clan called Fade currently
I'm in a gaming clan called Lame Gamers, we play a lot of games together and we used to have a Counter-Strike clan before we got too busy with real life. We play Gunbound, Dawn of War, DOTA. I also used to do the Everquest guild thing, but I quit playing right around the time when they announced Planes of Power. On a side note, we had a match against #doot once a long time ago with Lame Gamers on de_cpl_fire. We won. Fun times. |
Everquest
Cazic-Thule Talons |
Just tossing in a "nope, none" note. I have been in several guilds for online games, but never anything that I have considered part of a clan. I do have friends with whom I frequently get together in games.
|
Socom 2 - Everyone should be playing this game!
SHO which stands for Shadow Operations. |
I formed a clan with a few friends from IRC, the name was IGB, or IRC Ghetto Boyz. We played SOCOM mostly on the PS2, after that, we moved to Xbox Live and never looked back. We're on hiatus right now, just waiting for Halo 2.

Team Fortress Classic clan [XiL] (stands for exile)
