Anyone still playing AgeOfEmpiresII?
- cause I keep going back to the net (http://zone.msn.com/age2/) to play it every now and then.
I think it still is a very good game actually. http://www.microsoft.com/games/age2/ Just wondering, :confused: am I the only weirdo that still likes it? Is there anyone else out there still playing this old game? |
I still play it fairly regularly. It is the only game on my computer that has never been uninstalled.

I haven't played it in ages, but it is still a good game... no Total Annihilation, but a good game.

Rise of Nations has sort of replaced AoEII for me, but it's still a great game.

I tried going back several times, the thrill is gone, was fun while it lasted. DoW is the next big RTS.

I enjoy the game, very good mods are out for the game too. I never really played online, though.

I still enjoy playing the game. I only play it offline, though. I don't have near the skills (or the bandwidth:() needed to compete with another human.:) If I get into a situation where I have to micro-manage more than one or two spots on the map at once, I'm sunk.
I just enjoy building up my little village. And sending my army over to wreck my ememy's:D |
Playing online is a totally different experience than the tower building competition with the computer opponents...

Well, I still have it installed on my computer, but god knows when the last time I played it was. I did, however, play Empire Earth a few months ago for the first time in years.
