I would much rather have standard than inverted. Same goes for console games, etc. The only exceptions I allow are flight games.

Normal! When i push in a certain direction i wanna be moving in that direction.

I think some people in this thread are saying inverted while thinking about console games and joysticks. A large majority of players that use inverted console joystick controls use "up is up, down is down" in FPS (sans flight games). There really should be some clarification and a poll on this thread!

I'm weird like this, inverted on FPS console games with controllers, but i'll shoot myself before i play an inverted FPS with a mouse on the PC

I read that if you switch things up like this you'll grow more neurons in that part of your brain which in this case will help if you're ever in a car wreck or something like that, and may lead to more 'durability' in the case of alzheimers or a stroke. I'm a neurobiologist, btw ; D

So I will play games with inverted mouse one week, then the next I'll switch it to normal. Fucks with my head though. I like it.

I don't get how people can use inverted.

I mean, think about it... up = down and down = up? Mmmkay.

Sure, anyone can get used to any method, but WHY? That would be like making left go up, right go left, up go right, and down go ... down. Maybe I'm crazy but... if I move the mouse up, it should go up, not down. :hmm:

As people already explained..inverted is normal ..because looking down with your head would be more of a pushing down motion, and looking up is like having your head pulled back...
Anyway, it doesn't really matter I guess.
Just we'll see whos a plane pilot later and who isnt. :D
