Doom 3. My trigger gets stuck!
Anyone else have this problem? Every once in a while, I click to shoot and the trigger sticks, and I keep on shooting. This is a quick way to waste bullets. I can usually click to fire again and stop it, but not til I've wasted a clip. Sometimes I get the opposite: I click to shoot and nothing happens.
I replaced the batteries in my mouse but that didn't help. My processor is actually below the minimum 1500 Mhz Athlon XP. Could this cause it some how? I'm running an 1100 Mhz Athlon XP. |

One day an Englishman, a Scotsman, and an Irishman walked into a pub together. They each bought a pint of Guinness. Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage, three flies landed in each of their pints. The Englishman pushed his beer away in disgust. The Scotsman fished the fly out of his beer and continued drinking it, as if nothing had happened. The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!" |

Since your proc is underspec, it makes me think maybe it has something to do with 'lag' or chop, for example, you press fire and it starts, it lags/chops up, and gets stuck firing, same for no fire, you go to press fire, but its in a choppy moment so it doesn't register. I've had this happen to me with other fps's.
