Anyone got the EverQuest 2 sample videos?
 

When I try to load them from the web page, they never play correctly. If anyone has a link that I could download them, that would be sweet. Also, if you have an opinion about the game, let me know. I'm considering buying it, and I'd like some input. Thanks!

Well up until now I was fairly firm in my pro-WoW state, but after downloading 1gb of EQ2 game play videos off of Fileplanet I am going to preorder EQ2 tomorrow. I played EQ for 3 years and despite all the negativity people have thrown its way, it's still my favorite game playing experience.

Yeah, EQ may destroy lives and ruin relationships, but it's sure as hell fun sometimes. Every now and then it goes from "fun" to "not fun, but addicting" though...that's where ya gotta pull the plug. :)

I've seen the EQ2 videos and I'm not impressed at all. It looks like the first one with better graphics (and that may not be a bad thing)...but I want more than that. If I play anything, it'll probably be World of Warcraft.

Not even interested in the game, I've seen what it's done to people. I've seen it ruin marriages... that game is evil. Hope you enjoy the vids!

I wouldn't go near any EQ game with a ten foot pole. My gf is not pleased with the games I play now, and that's mainly single-player, where you can pause when she wants a kiss. If I started playing EQ and she wanted a kiss, I would be all like "maybe in an hour after i level up" ;)

I'm dissapointed in the fighting physics. Ah well, it's not like i'm goign to buy it anyway.

Sounds (and looks) like a great game! Despite the warnings, I think I have to give it a try. :crazy:

Just the thought of EQ brings back flashbacks... never, ever again. Maybe WoW for a month or two... I like MMORPGs, but they suck up way too much time.
