Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines. Walk through movies.

Been waiting for this since I saw it at E3 two years ago. I'm not a big fan of rpg's but it looked really nice. And for those that don't know it runs on Valves Source engine. ETA is for October. Can't wait!!

I never played the first game but this one has me excited. I've always wanted to be a vampire plus I hear the source material is pretty good. Good RPG's have been few and far between lately, the best ones I can remember are KOTOR and Morrowind.

Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption was a pretty weak game.
Troika is responsible for the atrocity that was Temple of Elemental Evil and Arcanum which had a cool concept but rather poor game play. From the movies I can already tell that even though this game may have the best graphic engine the poor artwork, poor concepts and poor game play will make it yet another sub-par RPG. |

Redemption had the opportunity to be a great game but from the get-go it was deserted. Patches never helped, and I bought the game and was excited for it but it failed.
Hopefully this one can redeem where the last one left off.

Redemption was potentially a fantastic game, but never received the attention it deserved in terms of patches. It's still a good game to pick up for $10 in a bargain-bin.

I blame Atari (Infogrames) rather than Troika for ToEE. It's a great concept and the combat was a blast to play but it was quite obvious that it was pushed out the door. Atari also limited the amount of dialogue which resulted in some rather bland and short quest dialogue. They did the same thing with MoO3.
