HAHAHA, man I remember playing that game. You know, somewhat silly as this thread may be (although who knows you may be serious), there really ought to be more discussino of some of the great board games in here. Board games are a lost art - nothing like the fun of Risk, or Axis and Allies...and the list goes on

Chutes and Ladders was pretty darn cool when I was a kid - I dunno if an adult version is really possible though

There was this one board game that was very risk-like, but it had a couple very neat features. Primarily, it had a stock market that you could sell goods to, and the lowest denomination of money was 1 million dollars. There were nuclear weapons, and satelittes that shot them out of the sky. I believe nuclear winter was a threat in the game. Very, very fun board game, but for the life of me I can't remember the name.

Anyone else know? I'd love to get my hands on this one...

Supremacy. There are also things sort of like "expansion packs" that you can get for the game that adds new technology.

It's sitting in my basement

Unfortunately I couldn't find it for sale anywhere on the net to link to One thing interesting I saw though while looking on eBay was that Axis & Allies was revised and updated by some other company apparently. Interesting.
