In the original Teaser trailer for Halo 2 where Master Chief jumps out onto a Covenant space-craft you can hear dialogue that very much resembles that found on IloveBees.com. It's a crazy campaign effort but a fantastic idea to get a "buzz" stirring.

I had checked that site from IGN yesterday, I really didn't get what was going on, but I have to admit, for MS/Bungie, this is a really damn clever and subtle way of generating "buzz."

EDIT: Well, I really didn't *look* at the website, so to speak, I just looked at the picture of the website. It would seem to be a really clever way of generating buzz. But still, 25 days from now, that would only be August 23, sometime around 5 AM EST. That's definitely not when the game is coming out, so it must be something about the game itself? Perhaps this is what IGN was talking about, a new race added to the Covenant, like a race of bee-aliens or something.

Hmm, "In 12 days this medium will metastasize." That's weird. Maybe the website for whatever this is will be out then. Hey, maybe it'll be a demo for Halo 2!!!!!:)

Keerist, I watched that entire "electronic/supersonic" video twice trying to figure out how Halo2 fit in.

Looks like someone hacked the shit out of that ilovebees.com site.... HAHAHA.

Its in total hours not days. Right now its at 2311 / 24 hours a day = 96 days. Which translates to early November, the most publised release date to my knowledge.
