In case you boyos haven't heard it, Derek Smart of Battlecruiser 3000 fame is thinking of buying the Freespace license from Interplay. He asked for comments on the Adreline Vault threads and got this

I recall buying some version of Battlecruiser and having a bug that was clearly covered in the readme file. I must have missed it and I sent some frantic email to Derek which he answered patiently, even though I had heard he was a right bastard.

Anyway, thought any Freespace fans might want to know.
