I rented it -
I played it for a bit, but didn't really give it much of a chance. My initial take on it - Original? Definately... "easy to pick up and play?" Definately not... the controls (at least initially) seem rather daunting... Fun? Not really, but like I said, I didn't give it much of a chance. I'll get back to you when I play it a bit more

I've gotta disagree with that. Halo on the box was amazing. Personally I can't wait for Halo 2 on the box. I wouldn't even dream of playing Halo on the PC...

HAHAHA.. Console Fanboys vs. PC Fanboys.. Gotta love the hate! ;p
Personally, I play both. However, I usually gravitate towards the console because it is easy to setup, play, and the controller is nice.. I have read all the arguements on both sides, and that is why I play both. Desert Combat mod would never have developed on a console, I know..

I do as well play both consoles and PC CD. FPS, sure they are much easier on a PC using a keyboard and mouse. Halo was good because really fast precise shooting was not really required. Now, UT2k4 on the other hand, I had hard times playing that on the XBOX.
Each has their pro's and con's. Get both!

Yep, I played FSW at work a few times now. Its amazing how many (attempted) returns we get from people that expected it to be a FPS. The only advice I can give is to try and research games before you buy them. Hell, rent them at least unless you know for sure what you're buying.

I still say FPS games on consoles suck more than anything! I mean, let's be honest here...if I was playing Halo with a mouse + keyboard against a person playing with a regular controller...who would win? I wouldn't even have to be particularily good at FPS games but I would still dominate. --jaded
