do you ever say anything when you lose at a game?

i think my reflexive favorites are: "man, damn! i almost had it!" and "This game's cheating!"

or do you just silently stare at your loss?

what do you say when you lose, if you say anything at all?

One of my favorites is not from my own mouth but from the Art Director here. We were involved in a very heated game of super bomberman snes and I booted a bomb right in his path to win the final game of the night. His response "SHITFUCKER!!!"

Needless to say, there were no more afternoon games of bomberman after that.

BULLSHIT.

you can ask Lasereth on this. If I start losing at a game, I make unintelligible noises that resemble a mix between a linx/bobcat and a dishwasher. I can't stand losing. I really can't stand it. It's either the unintelligible noises, or an incredibly loud "FUCK!" that sounds more like "FACK." Really loud. So loud, in fact, people stop by the room (when we are at college) to see what's going on.

It depends on what type of game I am playing. If the game is slow (RTS, RPG, Strategy), and I lose; I will usually say something light and simply reload. If the game is an on-line FPS and I die, the string of profanity that exits my mouth could almost be considered art.

The one exception is games that don't let me save when I choose. When I die just before I finish a mission in GTA:VC, I will usually curse a significant bit too.

I am quite proud of my artistic usage of swearing when losing somthing that I know I should be winning at. Golf, baseball, paintball, video games, you name it they all get thier equal time on stage of my swear-a-thon bitch fest.

Yes, I am a poor loser. And I fucking love it. I only causes me to get better, and try harder next time.

I just yell out an impotent, "MOTHERFUCKER!!!".

"Oh fuck that fucking shitfuck!" Then it ordinarily dissolves into laughter or crying, depending on how late at night it is.

I nearly forgot about that bastard. That's one of the few recent times I've cussed my games. I enjoy the simple "Dammit...round two, bitch" slogan; it keeps me goin'.

I play alot of FPS games,so my reply is usually..

Lately I toned down alot,saying everyone that kills you hacks sounds rediculous.

There are also the blatant staring at the screen, making odd faces... flicking the screen off... heh.

Sometimes you just get so frustrated you'll say just about anything. As much as games can be a friendly escape, they can also become your enemy.

I also have an artistic approach to losing. we play a lot of FPS and usually I'll throw out about a 6-10 word string of profanities when I felt like it was a crappy death. If it's a good death I'll usually either say nothing or man, that was close. A friend and I are usually on the phone when we play ( beats Teamspeak!) and we know the other died by the string of profanities.

When I lose, hmm.. I never lose? Wait.. Is hitting reset losing? ;) Well, when I -DO- lose, it's usally along the lines of very harsh racial terms followed by the obligated "fucking prick!" Then the sound of a controller slamming against a hard surface, such as, but not limited to; a wall, a T.V. the floor, another person.. ect.

well... there are the times when I'll admit defeat...

I play FPS's and with my headphones on someimes I yell out loud but I can't really hear myself. Most likely "Fucking Bullshit!!!".

My son kicked my frickin ass last night at the pool table. I was really on my game, too. I was nailing three rail shots and massees.

Been playing Ninja Gaiden lately. There have been a few times where I've shouted "FUCK" or "BULLSHIT" on some bosses. Sometimes I'll just stare silently.

I simply say "Good Game". Then I send them a virus. Fuckers.

Been playing a lot of Project gotham 2 on live. Due to living in Japan, I get a lot of good connections with chinese people (oddly enough, never ran into a Japanese speaker....) I pretty much just scream random syllables when I lose. Who knows what I'm saying.

Im not much of a gracious loser, so its usually "FUCK!" Or something along the lines of "That is one cheap fucking way to win, you prick." They all know its in love... or something.

fuck is always handy to use.

but with my frequent wc3:tft playing, I see the phrase "gg" or "gg nub" often. Most of the time, it's me saying it, thankfully.
