Pocket Pc's are great for NES emulators
Get pocket Nester and maybe a game gear emulator at zophar.net . And I'm sure you'll be able to find plenty of your own homebrew roms.. erm.. ya Download.com used to have plenty of cool freeware stuff too! Theres a version of SimCity 2000 floating around, and Age of Empires too, just rather hard to find. Mostly, I use my pocket pc for movies and stuff. great for traveling

I've got a PocketPC (iPaq H2210) and it's pretty good at gaming ; the main problem is the tiny joystick which is absolutely unusable in action games...
Besides, I'm a programmer (for a living) and I developped a small but nice (IMHO) puzzle game, called Pocket Griddler. It's free, of course, and it's at http://griddler.dyndns.org There's also a windows version, for those not having a PocketPC... PS : use the latest (at the moment 1.1.4 beta) version ! |

I have a 2210 as well. The thing will run an SNES emulator, but it really doesn't have enough buttons to play the games without hassle. NES is another story. I use pocketNES for that one. I also got Simcity 2000 off of a P2P *cough* er Best Buy down the road. It's pretty cool, even with the small screen.
This site has even more stuff on it.

Pocket Quake!!
http://quake.pocketmatrix.com/ I had this on my PocketPC. Reminds me when I played Q1 on my 400mhz PC Controls are not a problem. Althought I had to reconfig them each time I played. I was too lazy to rewrite the .cfg myself.
