Be content, it is the alpha and omega for the war gamer. It just plays so right, it feels so good. They managed to pull everything together so well, you really feel like part of the inviroment whilest playing. I haven't had this much enjoyment with my xbox for awhile and I can't wait to crack open Chronicles or Riddick - Butcher Bay. I don't want to spoil any surpires so I won't say much but if you are considering this game and haven't made the decision yet, I can try to answer your questions. Is anyone else playing this yet?

i wait for the pc port as i am not having xbox live .. and i want to play it cooperative

I think there is split screen co-op. When does it come out for the pc? I though it won't be until the end of the year.

Just played last night for the first time online co-op. The jury is still out (rented if from Blockblaster) on whether I will buy this or not.
I like the tactical aspect of the game, but some of the nuances are weak. I never knew hiding behind a corner made you 100% invincible. Good thing the Tango's have 5.56MM weapons, because 7.62mm would plow through the walls I hide behind.
The flanking manouvers to assist your buddy (or other fireteam in single player) are fun!
Another negative however is the secondary weapon load out. Seriously, if you have an M203 Grenade launcher, are you really only going to take 2 grenades for it? Maybe I have seen too many Schwartzenegger movies, but I would have 2 in every pocket of my BDU.
The smoke grenades are a nice touch (instant cover), but again.. only 2 in the whole 4 man group? Seriously, I think my 4 man squads are made up of the wimpiest, whiniest girls in the Army.
"Sorry Sarge, I would have liked to take 4 grenades, but GD they are just too heavy to hump. Better take 2 instead."
On the whole the game is fun so far, but I am glad I rented it first. Check it out, the format is interesting but it ISN"T Ghost Recon or Rainbow 6.
