Before you start a match it says "currently changing commentary language"

My question is CAN you actually change the commentary language to lets say spanish or something else other than the default english?

You can change the commentary language to Spanish, French or German from the options menu on the screen after the title page. You can't change it half way through the game like you could on the older versions.

Is that the game that's in Japan as winning Eleven 7? I was thinking of getting it, the box advertises six different languages! (although a couple of them might just be text, not voice...)

Yeah I meant VOICE commentary. if you select spanish from the languages option it only changes the menu options to spanish and not the actual commentary.

And I second the "Best soccer game ever" comment.

That's the one. I think Winning Eleven 7 has different club teams on it but one of the features of the game is that you can edit the teams and players.

It might be worth waiting if you're in Japan, the next installment probably isn't far away over there.

Yeah, but a new installment is ALWAYS not far away. How many iterations of WE6 were there? They even had one labelled "Final Edition" Gets confusing, and I just want some good English "Gooooooaaaaaalllll!!!!" action. Japanese commentary is teh crappy....
