Granted I haven't played it yet, although I intend to give it a shot, and have only giving the story overview a quick once over, but what's so political and offensive about it?

yeah its funny when poeople think its offensive.
Jihad means religous war. it doesnt not mean the taliban is coming to get you(well it could but in this case its simpyl a religous war) i dont see whats so political about a mage blasting the hell out of a cyborg.. but whatever floats you boat. |

I'm actualy slightly offended that it's called Jihad, myself. Jyhad is clearly the cooler spelling.
d/l'd it and fired it up last night. Was pretty fun, although I was a little lost (go figure). After a few rounds called it a night and went to read the manual, made some things a lot clearer. The biggest problem I found was what appeared to be a very low population of players, but hopefully that will change. The last multiperson FPS I played though was Duke Nukem (I just typicaly don't feel like I'll get the ejoyment to warrent me spending 30 bucks on them), so all my comments are from a person not up to date on what modern multi gaming is like. The RPG mode seems cool, and I'm eager to be comfortable enough with the game to try it. All in all, it's a fun game in and of itself, tack the word 'free' on it, and you've got a big winner. Here's hoping I get one of the keys so I can class it up

Email 'em and get a key.. woo!
Its funny how Jihad supposedly throws off some people when there is Counter Strike giving you the ability to play as terrorists, Desert Combat with is America vs Iraq.. So why is Purge: Jihad offensive and/or political? Its not, its just another good game.

A jewish friend of mine heard me talking about this game, and he got all pissed off about it just because of the title. Some people need to get thier heads out of thier asses and look at more then the just the top layer in life, things go deeper then that.
As for the game, its pretty fun, just difficult to perfect/master.
