Any Jedi Academy gurus? - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I've just booted up JA for the first time in quite some months, and I'm enjoying a bit of light sabre action, but unfortunately, I can't seem to master the acrobatic moves, like the backflip off the wall or the sideflip off the wall. Those two in particular are causing me headaches. Anyone got any suggestions for how I can pull them off? According to my stats, there's no reason why I should be able to do them, but I run at the wall and kind of lamely jump ino the air when I tap jump. I should be pulling off some kind of crazy vertical running shit.

I remember that the crazy fly forward thirty yards jump, you have to activate force speed a moment before you jump....perhaps the other jumps are like this?

But yeah, single player was a blast, but I just didn't get multiplayer.
Everyone in the middle and start wailing on each other...

I was playing duel last night online and had quite a blast, although getting my ass repeatedly handed to me was a bit of a downer. I figured out though, that contrary to Lucasarts' normally decent production values, the manual incorrectly states that force jump level 1 is enough to do the wall running, when in fact you need force jump 2. i loaded up a bot game of multiplayer with a jedi master and started wall running all over the shop.
