Greetings Everyone,
Whilst playing UT 2004 I have come across some amazing players. Recently, I had the idea of of checking their stats to see what weapons they prefer, how many kills, etc. If you push F3 you can see your own stats but if you push F8 you can see your team stats. Why is it that you cannot view certain players stats? Can you hide them? Does this possibly indicate that they are cheating? Thanks for any info.

Some players online choose not to register their stats. All servers don't force you to register your shit with the UT Globalstats Program. They're not cheating however, they just aren't registered with Epic's statistics tracking system. If you wanna see the overall stuff however, check out http://ut2004stats.epicgames.com/.

LMAO. Just checked out the stats main page, Onslaught has THE most kills of all the games, moreso than almost ALL THE OTHER GAMES COMBINED. Incredible.

Some people just play way too much and are real good at UT 2004. I play medal of honor online, and no one can dominate like some people do in ut 2004. im not sure how they do it.

MOH doesn't have Rocket Launchers which can fire multiple rockets at the same time, AVrIL's which can destroy tanks and other vehicles and an alternate fire on a LEVIATHAN which can destroy a power core in one shot!

Actually I think it took me 2 shots to destroy the power core.

just because moh does not have weapons that kill power cores in one shot, it has guns that kill people very fast, and there are no people that can dominate on it like they do in ut2004.

the stats are still down

I have done like 5 eagle eye shots.
I did 2 eagle eyes to the same person, in different maps and in different dates, I just noticed now on the screenshots.

Well, you see, that's because in games like MoH.. you have to AIM your gun.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the Unreal games. I really enjoy lanning them up with friends of mine. But the simple fact of the matter is, they're designed with one goal in mind: get more frags. In games with more distinct objectives, or more "realistic" games, the kill count is ALWAYS lower, because they're not made the same way.

You can't compare MoH and UT 2004. They're not even in the same genre. It's like comparing Vice City to Gran Turismo. What's the point?

Those people honestly do nothing else. Next time you head out for dinner, thank yourself for having enough sense to shut the game off and go talk to real people! I know, I know, it bugs me too! I hate those guys! It can really get frustrating.

As for the stats server, it never seems to run for very long. Its on, then it's not, then it is....then it's not. I save mine up there..some..where...

Anyway, happy to see others as perplexed as me! I'm such a avergae player. Then again, I have a life.
