Diablo 2 character for hardcore - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Some friends and I are wanting to play the new version of Diablo 2 just on a LAN here, but were disgruntled to find that (well i presume) you have to finish the game for hardcore mode.

We haven't really played it for 3 and a half years and don't have any characters now that have finished it, or whatever, and we just want to play hardcore cause it's n times more exciting

At the moment i am trying a character editor so we can finish the game the quickly, but haven't had much luck so far. Any other things we could try to do?
....or someone send me one of their completed characters

help some poor geeks in need...this is really embarrasing for me

no need, i edited a hardcore feild with an editor and now i can make hardcore characters.

You only have to beat the game on normal to get hardcore mode. If you have some friends to help, have oen person make a sorc, one person a barb, and then whatever else. Then, get maphack and you can basically run the barb to wherever you need to go and once the sorc get teleport just teleport where you need to go. From scratch it really shouldnt take more than an hour or two. When you get to hardcore be real careful though. Shit hit HARD once you get a few people in the game and make it to hell.
