Sell me on an Xbox.

I've been kind of wanting to buy an xbox, the problem is that I'm a cheap bastard who won't spend money unless someone forces me to.

So tell me, Ninja Gaiden, Halo? What else? Why should I buy an Xbox boys and girls?

Personal Fav and quality list(other than what you mentioned)

First off, the fact that i have over 60 cd's on the hard drive, in good quality, is awesome. Most people don't realize you can do that out of the box. If i wanna listen to greenday, a few scrolls, and im there, death metal...a few more, and im there.

Gamewise:
Star Wars Knights of the old republic- awesome RPG if you're a star wars fan or not. One of the few RPG's i played through and beat. I love this game! Graphics, sound,e verything is amazing.

Dead or alive 3 Awesome fighting game, great 4 player tag, great graphics.

Tom Clancy Splinter Cell- Unreal lighting, great graphics...need i say more

GTA/GTA Vice City - You know the drill

Panzer Dragoon Orta - Again, awesome graphics, great game once you get past the no so great 1st level.

Mechassult- awesome if you're into that

and i have to say it. HALO OWNS!

The Controller S has a real good feel to it, and having all thsoe CD's on the hard drive is great. Not having to dick around w/ memory cards is another plus too!

Oh yeah, and 4 controller spots!

Also, upcoming games such as Fable Halo 2 and Mechassult 2 will rock.

You can mod it, rent a game, and then copy the game into the hardrive. Better than $50 a game...

YES!!! New price drop next month on Xbox was reported on Yahoo last Friday!

Ninja Gaiden, Halo 1 and 2, Fable, KOTOR are absolute reasons enough to spend the money. In entertainment value, it's really cheap.

I like playing game(i.e. tetris and Rallysport) and being able to listen to my music off of the hard drive while I am playing. I also owned a PS2 and I like the Xbox more. The graphics are smoother than the PS2.

If you're into kiddie games

Don't see alot of mature titles for that console. Ane what few there are you can get half of them for Xbox :P

$149 for an Xbox and I just might get a second one!!

It's time to drop the Nintendo-Kiddie games stereotype. It's old now. GameCube has just as many mature titles as other consoles. Give it up! It's not a valid reason to argue anymore. I'm not a huge Nintendo fanboy; I own all three consoles (and even a Dreamcast if you want to get personal). It's just annoying to see each console being stereotyped using foolish premisses.

I just caved and bought an XBox this weekend. All I can say now is that I am very glad I did. I hated spending the money on it, but wow was it worth it.

HALO = FUN!

Make the plunge, you wont regret it.

My wife bought me one about four months ago.

I don't play it that much, but when I do I have fun.

Crimson Skies was great, until I got stuck trying to fly a feckin' "aerial chase/obstracle race" (bloody impossible).

GTA double-pack (GTA3/Vice City) is great fun though. Just roaming around the city is a blast. Have only completed around 12% of the first game and haven't even opened Vice City. Highly recommended.

Plus, I like stealing busses and running over cop cars...

Yes, because the Resident Evil series is designed for 5 year olds! Not to mention MGS. I mean, cmon, how many 5 year olds wouldn't want to play a game full of blood sucking zombies?

I said there's not ALOT of mature titles.

But you have to agree there's more E rated games for GC than Xbox.

yes, the fact that you can save music cd's to your xbox and then play those songs in game is always a plus that you can't find on the other two systems
