UT2004 Load Times

Hey guys,

My load times are like 1 min+ for AS and ONS, havent played much of the others yet. But the demo loads were only 10 secs or so. Anyone else have this prob? I am going to search to see if there are any tips to cut down that time. I have defragged, and that didnt help at all.

P4 2.8 512 Mb Ram Gforce FX 5700.

It is a kick ass game though!

In game options turn off "load all player skins" or so. Instead of loading all the different skins it only loades the ones that is currently ingame. Dropped from maxing out my 512MBs of ram to useing about 360MB.

Yeah the load times are a bit ridiculous.

And thats a good trick there, Supradog. Never noticed that option.

Yep, he is right, its awesome, turn that off and the game load times is cut big time.
