metacritic.com
I was just wondering if any one else loved
metacritic.com they have links to alot of reviews for pretty much most games and they give a nice weighted score based on the reviews available. personally that site has become my secondary opinion maker for buying games. (first being friends). any one else know of any other site that tries to do the same thing. |

I know this site does that too but only with games. They have a lot of other stuff too like developer history and game statistics.

I prefer to know how a set group of companies review games so I know what to expect. The blend of dozens of companies can skewer the ratings of a game if ya ask me. I'm used to IGN and Electronic Gaming Monthly, so I go by them (and them alone) for game reviews. They've never let me down in 7 years (besides one or two minor disagreements). For movies, it's Roger Ebert, and for the same reasons.
