Super Mario Bro's 3- the bear suit that lets you turn into a statue
Nintendo 64 James Bond- Assault Rifle, rcp30 Quake evolution or revolution?- Dont know the name but its like a mini gun but bigger( copper colored), you'll never find a gun sicker than that one.... |
I have to agree with the Armed & Dangerous crowd; the Land Shark is the funniest weapon I've ever seen.
The BFG 9000 has to have propz. One of my other favorites is the Strangelove version of the Redeemer for UT2K. Basically you rode the Redeemer a la Dr. Strangelove. Hilarious, and the fastest way to get from one end of the map to the other! |

The giggling proxy mines in Unreal Tournament were a winner for me. Perhaps not the best weapon in that game, but they were highly amusing. Such happy little things dancing and having a good ole time, just waiting for a passer-by to join the explosive cheer. :D

Actually, in that case it's way too much money on their hands. The blacksmith probably doesn't give a damn what projects he works on so long as he gets paid.
|
Precision Rifle, from Red Faction, mmmmm, that's good murder.
|
nice !

The screw attack.
Oh, and the bear suit is called a Tanooki suit. |

The Panzerfaust in Wolfenstein ET.
Especially in the Helms Deep map. That Zelda sword is pretty cool, too. |
Lightsabre, hands down!
|
i was always partial to the Golden gun from Goldeneye.
also, fireplants from mario games were pretty cool. |
Got to go with RCP-90 from goldeneye and the AWP and AK-47 from Counterstrike.
|
link's sword in the a link to the past and in ocarina of time is bad-ass
|
Gunblade from FF8.
|
I like simon belmont's whip in super castlevania IV, because if you hold down the button you can flail it around in any direction and play around with it
|
Hm.. other than what has been previously mentioned:
The hyper blaster in Silent Hill Great Knife in SH2 Bazooka/Tank in GTA 3/VC Rocket Launcher in Resident Evil that lets you kill everything in 1 hit, even the last boss. |

The C4 in Desert Combat. Actually, it's more effective than it is cool. I guess it's pretty damn cool if you like getting some major pwnage on people.

The Atlan Quest weapons in Asheron's Call...
it's been a few years and i might have missed a few steps but... First you had to obtain 16 motes (a small unit of measurement) of pyreal (a magical gold metal). Motes were obtained by defeating golems (of any type). If you killed 100 golem you might find one if you were lucky. After obtaining 16 motes you were required to combind them all into 2 pyreal bars and take them to an NPC located far away inside the bottom of a volcano crater. It was a perilous journey for those of low level. After reaching the sorceress Silencia and her pet magma golem, you had to purchase a weapon mold of your choosing (sword, unarmed weapon, staff, dagger, axe, etc). Then you had to combind the pyreal bars with the weapon mold and a weapon skill check was performed. (this would determine the quality of your weapon). You then took the complete mold and gave it to the pet magma golem who acted as a furnace kiln to complete a very unique looking badass weapon. There were atleast two grades of weapon that I remember, a superior quality which was medium damage and a peerless quality which was high damage. The Atlan weapons were no drop/no trade so that if you died the weapon would not be at risk of being left behind with your corpse and you could not give it away to just any player. Another interesting aspect of Atlan weapon were the Atlan Stones. There were 8 kinds IIRC. These were magial elemental stones of fire, ice, electricity, and acid. Of these four types there were minor and major versions of the stones. The Atlan weapon had a slot in the hilt in which an Atlan stone could be placed thus adding extra elemental damage as well as a uniques sword animation. The fire stone added a flaming/smoking animation, acid added green bubbles, lightning added sparkler effect, and ice had snowflakes... One the stone was placed it in the hilt it could only be removed with an Atlan tool which was another separate quest. In addition, everytime you removed a stone from the hilt there was a small chance that you could accidently break the stone. Since certain creatures were susceptible to certain forms of damage, this was a very versatile and highly effective weapon. I think part of the "coolness" factor for me was that it had to be earned rather than given. -mav |
Arctic Warfare Magnum Police Model. Oh Yeah.
|
Gravity Gun from HL2 (I know the game is not our yet. But from the trailers, this guy looks really cool.)
|
Squall's Lionheart from FFVIII or the shotgun in the Resident Evil games. It's so fun to blast off the Zombie heads :D
|
anyone ever play requiem angel...if so you might remember the tri-barrel combat shotgun
|
Remote Mines from Goldeneye. Especially when you have the button combo to detonate them in mid-air and not have cycle back to the mines.
I have played many 3 v 1 games with my group of friends where I just manhandle them with mines. Nothing better than them. It's the king of weapons. I wish all FPS's would adopt that weapon. |
I like the number 8 (lightning gun) from quake.
|
my standard pistol from deus ex after i had modded the crap out of it. i could kill anything with that thing
|
Desert Eagle.
In counterstrike, rainbow six, whereever you can find one, i use it. why, you ask? 1. half-inch bullets! half-inch! what the hell can't you kill with one of those 2. Loud. I like hearing a nice satisfying bang 3. oh how great the satisfaction blasting my rifle-toting opponent in the face while he futilly tries to hurt me with his puny bullets 4. every time i use one i am reminded of the quote from snatch "... because it says 'replica' on the side of your gun, and desert eagle .50 on the side of mine..." deagles rule. |
Sam Fisher's SC-20k owns me too.
|
Has anyone mentioned the chainsaw from Doom yet?
If you want to get old school, then nothing beats the chainsaw in terms of pure badass-ness. Xcept possibly the BFG 9000 |
