Rise of Nations or Eve Online?
 

I thinking of getting either Rise of Nations or Eve Online. Money isn't a factor, so I could always get both, but I'm tired of being disapointed with game purchases. Any players care to help me decide?

Eve sucked, we played it for about 6 weeks and decided it was a waste. The game seemed really in depth to begin with, but after a week or two, it's the same thing over and over. I've never had any exprience in the other game mentioned, sorry!

I thought Rise of Nations was a cool game.

Eve is horribly dull. Very nice eye candy and ecomomy system, but horrible boring.

Rise of Nations is pretty darn cool. If you're into RTS, it's hard to imagine that you'd be less than thrilled with RoN.

I'm really NOT that into RTS, and I thought Nations was a rockin good time.

Rise of Nations is one of the best RTS's I've played in a long while. I really love the depth of the game and the Risk-esque gameboard. I don't know anything about Eve Online but if you like RTS's at all, get RoN.

I just downloaded the trial version from microsoft. You're right; it is good to play. Thanks for the advice

glad i have a cable modem cause other wise the trial verison would suck to download


yea that rise of nations game looks pretty sweet

I'd go with Rise Of Nations anyday.

rise of nations is a fun game, tons of stuff in it.. and that kinda got me out


u can start out from nothing and build your army and end up having helicopters, fighter planes.. oil refineries


i just thought it got gay at the end with modern day military

id rather play medieval

Empire Earth is cool too; its goes into ages beyond RON; nanotech age and so on.
