So I finished GTA - Vice City and really enjoyed it, and am wrapping up Tiger Woods Golf. What game should I get next?

I really don't know what is out there. I have the baseball/football/hockey games, and like them, but really got into the 'drive around and blow shit up' thing with GTA III and VC.

I can't do first person stuff b/c it makes me nauseous and space / fantasy games are not all that interesting to me. Are there any good flight sim games or fighter games around or other games you could recommend that may be fun to a non hardcore player?

Is Splinter Cell strictly first person or is it 3rd person viewable? I ask b/c of the nausea factor (hell I got queasy after a few minutes of that EA Normandy game that is out.) Thanks again.

uh if you get sick to your stomach easily, maybe avoid Splinter Cell. though it IS third person view and it can be some-what slow moving at times.

Hitman 2. Hard, but multiple solutions to most problems. I played for weeks on a level trying a stupid strategy; my buddy did something radically different (and still w/in the storyline) and wound up beating it in 20 minutes. Very nice game/entertainment experience.

Actually, I wouldn't play splinter cell or metal gear. If you liked GTA because of the constant action, I would not like the games I mentioned. Cut scenes, ton's of things to think about, having to plan in advance. No. Don't do it.

If your looking for mindless action, Dystany Warriors 4 could be good choose, its not overly challenging but it is still fun. And State of Emergency is kinda in the blowing stuff up vein like GTA, but i've never played it so I don't know if its any good...

Thanks guys. Based on your advice I looked into all the items above - just got back from the store - they were having a buy 2 used, get one free deal so I got:

Hitman2
Medal of Honor Frontline (think that one is gonna make be puke)
Ace Combat 4
and NFL2k3 (new for $9.99???)

As far as I know, Ikuraga is a Gamecube title only, don't know if it will ever come out on PS2. I wish it would though, it looks like a kick-ass top-view shooter. And there hasn't been a decent one of those since Raiden II in the arcades, which I still play every so often.

Follow up II. Played all the games. Really like Ace Combat a lot. Medal of Honor is good, and does make my queasy after a while of playing. Hitman 2 went back to the store, as the style of game just did not click with me (reminded me a bit of King's Quest or those games where you say 'go north, open mouth, etc.). The NFL game is decent.

baldurs gate: dark aliance is good.

socom navy seals isn't bad for one player, and the microphone really immerses you in the game.

mark of kri is a really cool adventure / brawler.

splinter cell lets you sit still if you get queasy, and the lighting effects are incredible. truly the next level of gaming.

Maybe thunderstrike as well.

I just rented The Getaway. The controls are pretty shitty when you're walking around, but the whole game is a wicked movie, basically.

Hitman 2 is nothing like King's quest...you go around blasting guys from here to ...there. Well, unless you sneak around. It's pretty cool, I played it on the PC.

And I haven't really gotten much for my PS2...so...yeah. Beats me.

I'd advise everyone to stay away from State of Emergency. It's horribly repetitive and down right boring.

Infinite Hybrid

I suggest Zone of the Enders: 2nd Runner. Basically a mech game where you destroy everything in site. But it's really fast paced and make you quesy, so you may want to rent first.
